09 Feb Daily Message ~ Thursday February 9, 2023
There is a common saying that says the past is the best predictor of the future. That is true if you are still focused on the past or invested in things staying the same.
But if you are growing and expanding and allowing the unfoldment of your journey, the future will continually shift to reflect your latest level of attainment. That is what evolution is. You are not on the planet to anchor in more of the old. You are on the planet to be pioneers and lead the way into new higher potentials.
So we urge you to integrate whatever wisdom and growth your past experiences offered you, untether yourself from the past, and turn confidently toward the future and where your soul is beckoning to you to go next. By doing so you allow your life to get as big and beautiful as it wants to be while supporting the shift of consciousness on your planet. ~Archangel Gabriel through Shelley Young
New Update: While it is absolutely fantastic that we have helped Sarah and her family get into a hotel (she is SO grateful and can’t believe so many people would want to help someone they don’t even know!), the not so great news is that the hotel is costing her $200 a night. There’s still no word on the fema trailer she’s been approved for. I’m so grateful we’ve been able to help her get out of her vehicle and into a hotel, but I’m concerned that a lot of the money raised is having to go on paying the hotel and feeding her children. It’s super hard right now to find any reasonably priced rentals and even airbnbs are sold out because it’s season here and the tourists have grabbed them all up. This family is in a really tough spot and they need our support until they can get much more affordable lodging.
Update: I have the best news! The family is now back in a hotel, and we are almost halfway to our goal! How amazing is that? You are all so awesome for being the love and wanting to help. I know we can reach our goal in no time if we keep working together. Thank you so much to all of you who have taken the time to support this family. If you haven’t yet, I hope you will consider helping in whatever way feels right to you because every little bit adds up to make a difference.
Hi everyone! I’ve started this gofundme for a lovely family who has lived in my neighbourhood as long as I’ve been in Florida and have been displaced by hurricane Ian. I’ve never done a gofundme for someone before or asked my community to support one but this family truly needs help.
This is a family of a mom with 6 children. They had been living in a four bedroom rental for years, but the storm damaged the home and the landlord evicted them. They have been staying in a hotel waiting for a fema trailer but the hotel option has been exhausted now and the mom, Sarah, is now living in her minivan with her 6 children, ages 3 – 17. With the cost of rentals having soared over the past couple of years she’s having an awful time finding something affordable for her and her children. She has been approved for a fema trailer, she’s just waiting for the call but obviously a fema trailer is a stop gap measure. I’m hoping to raise enough money so she can afford to get into a proper home.
This is a wonderful mom who has been a fixture in our neighbourhood. Right after the storm she was the first one to clean up the yard of an elderly neighbour with her children and wouldn’t accept payment for it because she wanted to teach her children that it is good to give. Now I want to give back to her.
If you can spare anything, even the smallest amount, it would be so appreciated to help them get back on their feet. Every penny donated with go directly to this family (it is set up so any money withdrawn will go into her bank account), so you can be sure your money will go exactly where you want it to. If you are not able to donate, prayers and energetic support are also welcome to help this family through this very difficult time. If you do feel guided to donate you can do so through the link below. Together I know we can make a real difference and help this family get a fresh start.
