The ego self on the 3D layer thrives on drama. It happily spins around and around in chaos until the soul creates some kind of a crisis to knock it out of the loop into an existence that is more satisfying.

The ego self starts to take more of a back seat on the 4D bridge as the human starts to seek peace and more meaning to their existence. While the human may vacillate between 3D and higher 4D experiences, the ego may seek to block progress through the use of fear and doubt. It fears being eradicated or left behind so it tries to control the forward trajectory of the human. The 4D layer allows the human to decide who should be running the show.

From the 5D layer, the ego is seen as an essential part of the embodiment process – much like a beloved child that needs reassurance and love to feel safe and accepted in its role. The human becomes the loving parent and shepherd of all aspects of self, becoming a beautiful example of unconditional love and unity consciousness with their wisdom leading the way. Much healing can occur from this perspective, both for the human and the collective.

Each step is equally important whether it be a catalyst or an arrival, as one cannot happen with the other. It is the natural progression of growth on the journey, and quite beautiful to behold. ~Archangel Gabriel through Shelley Young
